In Paris, the Cour administrative d'appel de Paris occupies the Hôtel de Beauvais, a seventeenth-century townhouse. Its symmetrical façade presents a clear example of French Baroque architecture.

Administrative appeals from tribunals serving Paris, Melun, Montreuil, New Caledonia, and French Polynesia reach these chambers. Some Olympic and media cases come directly here. Antoine Le Pautre designed the building for Catherine Beauvais, a figure favoured by the Queen Regent. Public shops occupy the ground floor beneath it.

The building later housed the Bavarian ambassador, a school, and a maternity clinic before state requisition during the Revolution. Heritage activists later prevented its threatened demolition. A restoration in the early 2000s returned the Hôtel de Beauvais to judicial use. Most interior spaces remain closed to visitors.
