Santa Creu is a Gothic church in Palma, Mallorca, and one of the city’s earliest parishes. Its rib-vaulted nave, five apses, and chapels between buttresses shape the interior. Stone from Bellver’s royal quarry entered construction, which began in 1335 and continued across several centuries. The main floor measures about 26 metres across and 48 metres in length.

That long development added a late Baroque altar, religious artworks, and a crypt beneath the presbytery. The altar displays Saint Helena and the Virgin of Carmen, reflecting the parish’s maritime traditions. San Lorenzo’s crypt has an ambulatory with five sections, four octagonal columns, a Renaissance altarpiece, and a Gothic crucifix. A lintel with animal motifs marks its entrance. The first recorded organ dates to 1562 and now combines historical pipework, three manuals, a 30-note pedal, and 45 stops.

The main façade remains unfinished, while the north side carries a Baroque portal reached by five steps. Two pyramids and a central cross crown the portal, with Saint Helena standing in its niche. The third chapel on the left contains Antonio Barceló’s tomb, linking the church’s art to a naval figure known as Capità Toni.
