Église Sainte-Hélène is a Catholic church in Nice, within France’s Alpes-Maritimes department. Its origins reach back to a chapel built in the mid-seventeenth century.

The Rossignoli family established that chapel in Carras for local religious life. By the eighteenth century, Sainte-Hélène had become a parish church.

A campanile later joined the building, while nineteenth-century work altered its form. The church became a recognised historical monument in 1951.

Inside, a baroque organ built in 1978 reflects German instrumental traditions. The instrument belongs to the church’s architectural and musical character.

Sainte-Hélène also records the growth of Nice from a rural landscape into an urban neighbourhood. Its parish history developed alongside roads, settlement and the needs of worshippers in Carras.

The dedication honours Saint Helena, mother of Emperor Constantine and a figure associated with Jerusalem. Her story gives the church a connection between local devotion and wider Christian tradition.

The building forms part of Saint-Luc parish in Nice. It has served local worship through daily and Sunday masses.
