Palazzo Greppi is an eighteenth-century neoclassical palace in Milan, designed by architect Giuseppe Piermarini. Its garden once bordered the grounds of the Royal Palace, associated with the Archduke. Smooth rustication and horizontal bands give the lower facade a calm, ordered appearance.

Count Antonio Greppi, a banker and diplomat, commissioned construction between 1772 and 1778 to reflect his standing in Milanese society. Piermarini set a slightly projecting centre around a grand portal, Tuscan columns, and a balcony. Upper-floor windows carry simple or triangular pediments that reinforce the classical design.

Original interiors preserve the work of leading neoclassical artists, with the Ballroom offering stuccoes, frescoes, and bas-reliefs. Giuseppe Parini helped shape the decorative themes. The Sala di Giove contains Andrea Appiani’s fresco Jupiter and Ganymede, painted around 1790, while the Sala Napoleonica adds another notable interior.
