Leonardo3 Museum - Il Mondo di Leonardo stands at the entrance to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan. Inside, reconstructed machines and interactive displays bring Leonardo da Vinci’s designs into view. More than 200 interactive 3D models fill a permanent exhibition devoted to his work, experiments, and ideas.

The first room introduces Leonardo’s presence in Milan through the twelve-volume Codex Atlanticus, filled with drawings and writings. The Mechanical Eagle, Fast Crossbow, and Time Machine reveal distinctive reconstructions. Larger inventions appear next, including a Mechanical Submarine and the Flying Tandem, alongside digital and virtual experiences. A virtual reality reconstruction of The Last Supper lets you enter the painting’s creative process.

Room four gives children interactive ways to explore the inventions, while other spaces present musical instruments and paintings. Digital restorations include Leonardo’s Mona Lisa among the displayed works. Wheelchair accessibility is available throughout the Milan exhibition, which also received the Representation Award from the President of the Republic.
