Casa Valli stands on Via Bernardino Zenale in Milan, with a historic facade shaped by the city’s Liberty architecture. Completed in 1907, it follows the Italian Art Nouveau tradition. Francesco Magnani and Mario Rondoni designed the building after their work on Milan’s 1906 International Exhibition.

Floral cement decorations cover the facade, while two wrought-iron balconies add flowing, plant-like forms. Pasquale Mina crafted both balconies, including the smaller one above the main floor. A wrought-iron gate with blue glass inserts opens onto the courtyard, connecting the street to the interior spaces.

Paolo Mezzanotte’s sgraffiti fill the entrance hall and portico with images of Italian cities. Beneath the portico, a fresco shows a semi-nude young woman wrapped in red cloth.
