The Magdeburger Dom, officially the Cathedral of Saints Maurice and Catherine, stands in Magdeburg, Germany. The building serves as a Lutheran cathedral in Magdeburg.

Construction of the present cathedral began in 1209 and continued for more than three centuries. Its two towers were completed in 1520.

The south steeple reaches 99.25 metres, while the north tower rises slightly higher at 100.98 metres. Emperor Otto I and Edith are buried there.

An abbey dedicated to St Maurice occupied the site from 937, founded by Otto I. Martin Luther preached inside the cathedral in 1524.

The cathedral became Protestant in 1567, sheltered citizens during the Thirty Years' War, and underwent reconstruction after World War II damage. It houses art from antiques to modern works.

The Magdeburger Dom remains a landmark of Magdeburg and a place of worship with wheelchair access.
