Adelphi Theatre stands on the Strand in London’s West End, among theatres, historic landmarks and lively places to eat. The building is the fourth theatre on this site. Its auditorium has stalls, dress circle and upper circle seating for about 1,435 people.

The present building opened in 1930 with Evergreen, beginning a strong connection with musical theatre. Productions have included A Little Night Music, My Fair Lady, Sunset Boulevard, Chicago, Kinky Boots, Waitress and Back to the Future: The Musical. Nearby Covent Garden Market, Somerset House, the London Transport Museum and the Thames extend the visit beyond the auditorium.

Four bars serve drinks and snacks, and merchandise stands offer posters, mugs, T-shirts and cast recordings.
