Oper Leipzig is an opera house and company on Augustusplatz in Leipzig, Germany. Its building reflects the architecture of the late 1950s.

Opera in Leipzig reaches back to 1693, when the first Singspiel performances took place. Telemann led the early Oper am Brühl in Leipzig.
