Auferstehungskirche stands in Leipzig-Möckern as an Evangelical-Lutheran parish church with a timber-framed structure. Its Latin-cross layout runs unusually from north to south, while the tall interior opens beneath an eighteen-metre ceiling.

The congregation first worshipped in a school assembly hall before Paul Lange designed this more permanent emergency church. Construction began in 1900, and the building was consecrated in 1901 after a difficult winter. A renovation between 1974 and 1981 brought a simple wooden altar, an Oberammergau crucifix, and a pulpit from Magdeborn, a village lost to brown-coal mining. White-veined marble surrounds the baptismal font, while a copper bowl carries a dove and a biblical inscription.

The Schweinefleisch-Mendelssohn organ remains the oldest instrument of its kind in Leipzig. Built in 1766 and 1767, it now has twenty-five stops across two manuals and pedal after restoration in 2004. Each autumn, the Möckerner Orgeltage brings organ concerts into the church. Outside, the Kugeldenkmal Möckern combines sandstone with cast-iron cannonballs, commemorating the Silesian victory at the Battle of Leipzig.
