Konzertgarten Ost is an open-air concert garden in Germany, framed by tall coastal pines and sunny, sheltered green spaces. An octagonal reading pavilion with a reed roof stands beside the broad stage and dance floor. From the southern entrance, a circular plaza leads your view through seating rows and lawns towards the sea.

The first pavilions appeared around 1910, followed soon by a music pavilion within the park-like woodland. Hans Stoffers redesigned the grounds during the 1950s, while Rudolf Dießelmeier, Emil Dominka and the Meesen gardening company shaped the buildings and planting. A 2006–2008 heritage restoration returned the garden to its 1928 appearance and removed unsuitable additions from the 1960s. The pavilion now serves as a library, while the stage hosts concerts, children’s programmes and television recordings.

At the centre, a clinker-brick fountain carries Günter Brock’s bronze sculpture Die Lauschende. The listening figure directs the surrounding sightlines and gives the plaza a quiet focal point.
