Blocksberg rises among trees in the southern part of the town forest, covered with thick grass. This Bronze Age burial mound stands about two and a half metres high. It stretches thirteen metres across, giving the gentle slope a clear archaeological shape.

A geological and archaeological trail passes through the woodland beside it. An information board on one side explains the mound’s history to visitors. People built it around three thousand years ago to mark burials with earth and stone.

Local folklore connects the wooded place with witches and mysterious gatherings. Between roots, moss, and grass, ancient burial customs meet the quiet character of the forest.
