Bazilika Gjuricaj stands in Kruja, Albania, as a late-antique basilica built mainly from stone and brick. The remains form a Cultural Monument of Albania, discovered archaeologically in 1980.

Construction dates to the fifth or sixth century, when early Christian churches spread through Epirus Nova. Five brick rows, joined with lime mortar, form bands within the stone structure. Stamped bricks carry low-relief crosses or six-pointed stars, while capitals, imposts, columns, and iconostasis slabs show skilled workmanship. Mosaic tesserae and fresco fragments indicate a decorated interior. Research led by Halil Myrto connects the setting with “pazare”, a possible market near the church, suggesting a gathering place during Christianisation.

The most memorable detail is the small symbols pressed into surviving bricks. The site has no road signs, yet remains accessible from different parts of the surrounding area.
