Siebenbogenbrücke crosses the Rednitz River in Fürth, about 600 metres west of the main railway station. Five railway tracks and a pedestrian walkway pass roughly ten metres above the Rednitz valley, while trains connect Nuremberg, Bamberg, Würzburg and the Rangau Railway.

Construction began in 1862 under district engineer Reissinger, and the seven-arch bridge received its keystone in 1863. Each arch spans 20.4 metres, creating a structure 186.7 metres long and 25.1 metres wide. A scaffold collapse injured six workers during construction, while later expansions responded to growing rail traffic.

The Fronmüllersteg arrived in 1925 to preserve access during floods, and wartime damage to a pillar was repaired within two years. Renovations in 1969 and 1970 widened the bridge by 2.4 metres, followed by a northern bridge with seven arches and two tracks for the S-Bahn extension to Forchheim in 2010.
