Villa Holzmann (Museum Giersch) stands on Frankfurt’s Sachsenhausen Museumsufer as a historic villa with its original name. Wilhelm Holzmann built the villa there in 1910. It forms one of Frankfurt’s two historic Holzmann villas, alongside the Skyper Villa in the Bahnhofsviertel. Its position on the Museumsufer places the villa within Frankfurt’s museum landscape. Carlo Giersch opened the museum there in 2000.

The museum examines the art and cultural history of the Rhine-Main region through paintings, sculptures and graphics.
