St. Josefskirche stands in Frankfurt-Bornheim as a Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint Joseph. Its architecture draws on the former Gothic Johanniterkirche in Frankfurt’s old town. The building is wheelchair accessible and serves as the parish church for St. Josef Frankfurt am Main.

Bornheim’s first church appears in records from 1261, dedicated to martyrs Abdon and Sennen. The foundation stone for this church was laid in 1876, marking Frankfurt’s first Catholic construction since the Reformation. It was consecrated in 1877 by city pastor Ernst Franz August Münzenberger. An expansion in 1932 answered a congregation that had reached 18,000 members by 1914. Hans and Christoph Rummel led the work, which Bishop Antonius Hilfrich later consecrated.

Wartime damage remained relatively minor, while post-war work and renovations in the 1960s and 1990s restored and updated the interior. In the twenty-first century, it joined neighbouring parishes within a larger parish structure. More than thirty percent of its members are Catholics from various national backgrounds.
