The Dorfkirche in Unterliederbach, Frankfurt, is a Baroque church built on medieval foundations discovered during excavations in 1988. Its herringbone foundations belong to a medieval hall church from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries.

The building stands in Unterliederbach’s village centre, within a walled former churchyard entered through an archway from Heugasse. The churchyard served as a cemetery until 1872.

A light plastered exterior, tall windows, steep slate roof, and western bell tower define the church’s appearance. Inside, a wooden north gallery divides the hall.

The southern choir arch, pulpit, Baroque organ front, and historical paintings preserve layers of the church’s history. A wooden crucifix by Johann Paul Eckard hangs beneath the organ gallery.

Its balustrade presents scenes of the Annunciation, Birth, Resurrection, and Ascension, while apostle paintings decorate the north gallery. Renovations uncovered those apostle paintings in the early 1980s.

The church also contains an epitaph by Frankfurt sculptor Schnorr and an organ installed by Orgelbau Schuke in 1990. The historic interior connects medieval foundations with Baroque construction and later restorations.
