Schloss Molsdorf is a Baroque castle in Molsdorf, about twelve kilometres south of Erfurt, Germany. Its west and east wings rise above the filled-in moats. A north-side portal stands between the surviving tower stumps.

A sixteenth-century water castle preceded the residence seen today. Count Gustav Adolf von Gotter commissioned Gottfried Heinrich Krohne to reshape it between 1734 and 1740. Johann Kupetzky, Antoine Pesne and Giovanni Battista Pedrozzi supplied paintings and stucco for the interiors. French-inspired gardens carried numerous contemporary sculptures.

The museum presents historical rooms and special exhibitions within the restored castle. Around 1820, Duke Friedrich III transformed the Baroque garden into a landscape park. After the Second World War, the castle served as a children’s home before restoration began in the 1950s. Chamber concerts and art auctions now accompany the remaining traces of its Baroque garden.
