The Monographic Museum of Puig des Molins stands just outside Dalt Vila in Eivissa, surrounded by olive trees and rocky shrubland. It explores the largest and best-preserved Phoenician-Punic necropolis in the western Mediterranean. Phoenicians chose this hillside as a burial ground at the end of the seventh century BC, and the site eventually held around 3,000 underground tombs across nearly five hectares.

Five rooms follow burial customs from Phoenician, Punic and Roman periods, covering cenotaphs, body preparation, funerary rituals and changing tomb traditions. Pottery, jewellery and grave goods reveal how island communities understood death and the afterlife, while the Sainz de la Cuesta collection brings together Roman and Punic finds gathered in the mid-twentieth century. Ten archaeological phases trace the necropolis from its earliest settlements through late antiquity, and the museum and site together form part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Some hypogea remain accessible: stairs lead down into illuminated burial chambers cut beneath the hill. Only about 340 tombs are visible from outside, while most lie hidden below the ground.
