St. Paulus is a Catholic parish church in Düsseldorf’s Düsseltal district, built as a five-aisled Neo-Romanesque basilica. Its double-tower façade gives the church a distinctive architectural profile. Josef Kleesattel designed the building, constructed between 1910 and 1913. A Marienkapelle occupies one of its side aisles.

Second World War damage left the nave requiring reconstruction, while the largely intact façade received post-war restoration. Hans Schwippert redesigned the nave around the surviving structures. Inside, a 1956 baptismal font stands alongside a Madonna from around 1300 and a fourteenth-century Schmerzensmann. Fritz Schwerdt created the modern sacred furnishings, including a red enamel tabernacle, six high-altar candlesticks, and a crystal-studded cross with an ivory corpus.

Johannes Klais built the main organ in 1954, and Weimbs Orgelbau reorganised it in 2008. Sixty registers span four manuals and pedal, operated by electric action. The Marienkapelle contains another Klais organ with ten registers and fully mechanical action. Two seven-branched candelabras illuminate the crypt, while a small enamelled processional cross serves the chapel. Wheelchair access adds practical ease, and the church carries Düsseldorf’s deepest bell sound.
