Palais Schaesberg stands in Düsseldorf as a historic building within the Ursulagymnasium complex. Its façade combines clear proportions with elaborate window frames, recalling Schloss Bensberg.

Count Johann Friedrich von Schaesberg zu Krickenbeck commissioned the residence between 1708 and 1718. Simon Sarto built it with Drianne and Persee, after Michael Cagnon had drawn an earlier estate plan. The northern grounds included a garden, orangery, pheasantry, and stables. After the Schaesberg family moved its main residence in 1786, the building was rented from 1791 and sold to Duke Prosper Ludwig von Arenberg in 1804. Sessions of the Higher Appellate Court took place here until 1814.
