Münster-Therme stands in Düsseldorf as an indoor swimming pool shaped by Jugendstil architecture and basilica-like vaults. Richard Genschmer designed the building. Its swimming hall combines historical character with a pool measuring between 0.85 and 2.90 metres deep. Membrane electrolysis disinfects the water instead of chlorine.

The pool opened in 1902, when many households lacked their own bathing facilities. Hygiene and leisure shared the same address. World War Two heavily damaged the building, but it reopened in 1945. A major restoration finished in 2003 and preserved much of its Gründerzeit character.

An outdoor thermal saltwater pool reaches 32 degrees Celsius beside two Finnish saunas and a steam bath. Courses and concerts also take place here, with the pool area serving as a stage.
