Spiegler’sches Haus is a historic mansion in Dresden’s Trachenberge district, standing within a former vineyard landscape. Trachenberge was known for vineyards from the Middle Ages. The rectangular, two-storey building carries a mansard hipped roof, dormers, and a ridge grid. Neo-Rococo stucco frames the windows along the principal façade.

The estate began with a vineyard established for Saxon chamber councilor Wolf von Werthern at the end of the seventeenth century. Count Nikolaus von Maxen directed the first construction between 1738 and 1743. Christian Friedrich Gärtner later transformed the main house, while Gotthold Opitz remodeled it in Neo-Rococo style in 1895. Renovations in the 1990s preceded its conversion into apartments.

A park surrounds the mansion, with a grotto fountain, a stone balustrade arch from the old Augustus Bridge, and outbuildings. A horse stable and coach house stand on one side, while a gardener’s house and dovecote occupy the other. A Neo-Baroque wall and wrought-iron gate enclose the property. The upper rear grounds hold a 250-year-old pedunculate oak classified as a natural monument.
