Platja d'Es Trenc lies near Campos on Mallorca's southern coast, within the protected Es Trenc Salobrar de Campos. White sand meets shallow, calm water along the open southern coast. Dunes run behind the shore, forming a natural barrier between the sea and mostly undeveloped inland surroundings.

The coastline extends about ten kilometres from Sa Ràpita to Colònia de Sant Jordi, leaving room for long walks beside the water. Sa Ràpita and Colònia de Sant Jordi mark its accessible ends. Behind the dunes, the Salinas d'Es Trenc harvest fleur de sel from a landscape of pools and salt piles. Salt harvesting can sometimes be seen from the beach during warmer months.

The calm, sandy shallows suit families and swimmers, while clothing-optional areas welcome visitors including many from the LGBT community. Birds gather around the nearby wetlands and salt flats. Natural dunes, white sand, and working salt pools create the lasting view.
