Unser Lieben Frauen is an Evangelical Protestant church in Bremen, northwest of the Market Square. This church dates from the thirteenth century in Bremen.

Its early Gothic hall has three bays, four pillars, a chancel, apses, and Angevin vaults. Two steeples mark the church beside Bremen’s Market Square.

Brightly coloured stained-glass windows by Alfred Manessier use biblical verses to depict manifestations of the Word of God. The windows by Alfred Manessier date from 1979.

The church has held protected-monument status since 1973. The site has held a church since the late ninth century, when Bishop Willerich built one beside the cathedral.

Archbishop Unwan built the first church on today’s site between 1013 and 1029. It later served as Bremen’s market church and city council church, with modifications adding a southern aisle and long choir.

A fire damaged the interior during the year 1944. The restored interior includes an organ built in 1953, later adjusted through 1984, and a single medieval bell.

A redesigned war memorial honours all war victims. The church is wheelchair accessible and has a boys’ choir founded in 1945.
