Landhaus Krages stands in Bremen’s Horn-Lehe district as a protected villa within the city’s architectural heritage.

Architect Hans Haering designed the villa for timber merchant Louis Krages. Construction ran from 1924 to 1925, producing a two-storey residence with the conservative character of 1920s architecture. The villa’s hipped roof defines its external form. A terrace occupies the rear of the upper floor, giving the building a distinct architectural feature. Louis Krages commissioned the residence as a timber merchant in Bremen. After 1955, the property gained additional three-storey residential buildings around the original villa. The villa serves as residential space divided into apartments. Bremen placed Landhaus Krages under monument protection in 1997 because of its historical significance. Marcusallee contains other protected buildings in the vicinity. These include the Teehäuschen of Gut Kreyenhorst and Villa Schütte, connecting Landhaus Krages with a wider group of protected sites.
