Volkspark am Weinberg stands in Berlin’s Mitte district, where former vineyards shaped the park’s name. The hillside setting gives the grounds a layered design.

Its history includes vineyards, Gründerzeit development, and a mulberry plantation before the present park took shape. Helmut Kruse shaped the park after the war.
