St. Thomas von Aquin is a Roman Catholic church in Berlin’s Mitte district and part of the Catholic Academy complex. Its rectangular granite cube contrasts with the surrounding buildings.

Norbert Radermacher, Thomas Höger and Sarah Hare created the building as a collaboration in modern church architecture. Granite stones and glass blocks form its outer walls. The glass blocks match the granite stones in size and create an abstract pattern across the façade. Daylight enters through the glass blocks as diffused light.

Inside, a large canopy spans the ceiling and rests on four columns beneath a skylight. The central skylight adds illumination above the canopy. The altar uses stacked granite slabs, while the patinated metal ambo provides a finer contrasting form. Four granite blocks form the monolithic altar. A gold-glazed tabernacle stands centrally on the back wall, beside a late Gothic Madonna sculpture. Wheelchair accessibility is recorded for this church.
