In Berlin, Haus der Psychologie is a protected historic building where psychology and psychotherapy meet education, research, and clinical care. Paul Imberg and Walter Croner designed it in 1913. Its robust structure and classical elements give the early twentieth-century building a clear architectural presence. It began as a woodworkers' union headquarters.

Until 1933, the union used it, then National Socialists seized it before post-war trade-union administrations changed its purpose. It joined the United Services Union in 2001. The building took its present name in 2010, after decades of political and organisational change. Today, the building has protected historical status.

The Psychological University Berlin now uses the setting for education, research, and therapeutic services in psychology and psychotherapy. The Berlin Academy offers state-approved psychotherapy training. The German Psychologists Academy provides continuing education, while the Professional Association of German Psychologists, Psychological Information Service, and German Psychologists Publishing House also work there. Its psychotherapy clinic applies behavioural therapy, depth psychology, and systemic therapy to patients across different age groups.
