El Palauet Barcelona stands on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona, among the city’s Modernisme architecture. Architect Pere Falqués i Urpí completed it in 1906. Originally called Casa Bonaventura Ferrer, the building carries the compact form and ornate appearance behind its nickname, El Palauet. Barcelona recognised it as historical and artistic heritage in 1979.

Three vertical sections shape the main façade, with stone sculptures, a wooden doorway, and iron balconies. Light enters through a large roof skylight. Inside, artists and craftsmen filled the rooms with polychrome floral relief ceilings, carved wooden doors, and stained-glass windows. The original oak staircase from 1906 remains inside. At the rear, a white marble trencadís terrace supports a semicircular platform made from wood, iron, ceramics, and multicoloured glass.

Since 2010, the former family residence has operated as El Palauet, a boutique hotel with suites named after families connected to its history. Each suite includes two rooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. Minimalist interiors create open layouts that admit natural light. The building has also hosted exhibitions and events in its lounges and roof terrace. Its floral semicircular window remains the clearest detail above the rear terrace.
