Casa Lleó Morera is a Modernisme townhouse on Barcelona’s Illa de la Discòrdia, beside Casa Amatller and Casa Batlló. Three contrasting façades share one city block. Lluís Domènech i Montaner remodelled the older Casa Rocamora for Francesca Morera in the early twentieth century. Pink-marble columns frame the entrance. Sculpted women hold vases, while other figures display a phonograph, electricity, a telephone and photography beside the first-floor windows.

Mosaics, ceramics, stained glass and woodwork bring together the work of several artists and artisans. Eusebi Arnau created the façade sculptures. The dining room holds a huge stained-glass window showing the stages of the tree of life. Mulberry motifs appear in the courtyard, on door handles and in second-floor portraits. Restoration by Òscar Tusquets repaired Civil War damage and recovered lost decorative elements, with further work continuing through the 1990s and 2000s.

Guided tours reveal the guest room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, dining room and courtyard. Original furniture has disappeared, but the decorative craftsmanship remains throughout the first-floor rooms. One detail stays especially vivid: paired female figures stand on pink marble columns, guarding the richly ornamented entrance.
