The Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-ter-Sneeuwkerk stands in Borgerhout, Antwerp, as a parish church built in basilica style. Its three-aisled brick structure has seven bays, a flat-ended choir and a copper saddle roof. Round-arched windows and pilasters organize the high façades, while a square tower rises north of the choir. Inside, white plaster and early Christian basilica forms create a restrained architectural setting.

The building took shape after Joseph Willems and Jozef-Louis Stynen planned it in 1949. A bomb destroyed the preceding neo-Gothic church in 1944. The site reaches further back: a chapel stood here in 1536, and an independent parish emerged in 1837. Ferdinand Berckmans designed the replacement church built between 1841 and 1843.

Historical objects give the interior another layer, including a 1616 Adoration of the Magi and a fifteenth-century wooden statue of Our Lady of Victory. A sixteenth-century statue of Our Lady and a seventeenth-century Saint Sebastian also remain there. Students from Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts have conserved several pieces alongside professional restorers. Flemish built-heritage recognition supports the preservation of the church and its collection.
