Warmoesstraat is a historic Amsterdam street that runs parallel to Damrak, from Nieuwebrugsteeg to Dam Square. Its origins reach back to the thirteenth century.

During the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, Warmoesstraat served as a major shopping street in Amsterdam. Silk trading also shaped the street during the Dutch Golden Age.

Today, shops, bars, restaurants, coffeeshops, and sex boutiques create a varied street scene beside the red light district. Leather and fetish bars give Warmoesstraat a distinct LGBTQ+ association.
